Transform Your Life with a Miracle Morning

Today, I thought I’d change things up a bit and share something that has really changed my life from a personal development standpoint. I recently read a book called The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. For many years, I struggled to wake in the morning and I needed a shift.

For most of us, once we start our day, it’s hard to slow down. This book spoke to me because waking up earlier gave me time for personal development. My wife and I have started waking up at 4:45 in the morning because of this book!

The first step in this process is meditating for five to ten minutes.  Take this time to develop yourself spiritually. We use this time to read the Bible, but you can utilize this time however you want.

The next step is affirmations. This is something we’re not doing yet, but I know a lot of people who love them. Take some time to tell yourself how amazing you are, and do it each and every day.

The third step is visualization.  Imagine how you want to be. How do you want to engage with others on a daily basis? How abundant do you want your life to be? Visualize that in your mind.

After that, spend a few minutes scribing, or journaling. Write down previous successes from the last day. Having a running log of what you’ve accomplished will help inspire you.

This next step is a real gamechanger: read. My wife and I set a stopwatch for 30 minutes of reading something that inspires us and encourages personal development. Reading brings new information in, and helps us improve our relationships.

Finally, exercise. Start your day by getting your blood flowing so you can get out there and crush it.

If you have any questions, just give me a call or send me an email. I would be happy to help you!

Real Estate Predictions for 2016

Selling a home? Click here for a FREE Home Price Evaluation

Today we are excited to be discussing the market and just how strong it was in 2015, as well as what the expectations are for 2016. We’ll also talk about what you should be expecting if you’re thinking about selling your home.

According to the NAR, in 2015 we had the strongest market we’ve had in the last 10 years. The expectations are that 2016 is going to be even stronger. This past year, both existing home sales and pending home sales were at their highest rate since 2006.

There are a few variables leading up to this being an incredibly strong market for sellers. Right now, there is an extreme lack of inventory, coupled with strong demand from buyers, which is increasing exponentially. The law of supply and demand is at work in our real estate market.

Both nationally and locally, we are seeing great increases in home prices. In just the last year, we saw an 8% increase in our market. If you’re thinking about buying a home, it makes sense to buy now due to historically low interest rates and the fact that home appreciation is expected to at least maintain, if not increase, in 2016.

Most home sellers are entering the market in April, May, and June. If you can get ahead of that curve, you’re going to be able to take full advantage of these fantastic market conditions. If you have any questions for us, give us a call or send us an email. We can’t wait to hear from you!
