Why Did We Change Our Name to Mission Realty?



What is Mission Realty? Many people are curious about why we've rebranded our team. Allow me to explain.

Mission Realty has been on my heart for a long time and it's a big part of my own spiritual journey and personal development. I got to the point in my business and my life that, if I was going to spend 40-60 hours a week in my profession, I wanted to make a positive impact on the community in which I serve.

Mission Realty is real estate with a purpose. Inside, our business is all about personal development. We are teaching our employees how to grow, how to be better stewards of everything we've been given.

I love what Jim Rohn says: If you want more, you must become more; if you will change, everything will change for you; learn to work hard on yourself, and then do your job. These are all tenets we have in our business and we try to walk the talk. We have been very blessed to sell a lot of houses. Because of this, we decided we wanted to figure out how we can give a percentage of our profits back to the community we serve to change lives. Starting back on January 1 of this year, a percentage of the money made on every home we sell will be donated to one of three charities in the area. We picked these charities based on the impact they're making on enrichment and beyond. If we can help by donating some resources, and by getting our clients and business partners involved, I think we can change our community for the better! Today, I have some exciting news. Zillow says that Richmond is going to be the 4th hottest real estate market in 2016! We have a healthy, robust economy right now. That's why Richmond real estate will be on fire this year.


If you're thinking about selling your home, there is a lot of pent-up demand right now. We're getting out of the winter slump. If you look back at 2015, in January and February, we were wondering where all the buyers had gone. Then the market exploded. If you're a buyer, interest rates are still historically low. The Fed recently increased interest rates, and it's yet to be seen if rates will continue to increase for the rest of the year. Any increase in interest rates makes buying a home more expensive, so get out there now!
